Mr. Shannon Mitchell of Paragould died Sunday, October 5, 2008 at the family residence in Paragould at the age of 39 years 5 months and 25 days. Mr. Mitchell was born on Thursday April 10, 1969 in Trumann and had lived most of his life in the Trumann area having moved to Paragould four years ago. He was a factory worker and of the Baptist faith. Mr. Mitchell was preceded in death by two uncles, Bobby and Michael Mitchell, his grandparents, Curtis and Altie Fleming and John Neal and Wilma Mitchell. Survivors include one daughter, Candice Mitchell of Trumann; his mother, Janis Fleming Peifer of Harrisburg; his father, Raymond Mitchell of Paragould; two sisters, Shonna Robinson of Hot Springs and Tonya Mitchell of Paragould; several aunts, uncles and cousins; 6 nieces and one nephew. Memorial services will be Wednesday evening October 8, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home of Trumann with Rev Don Neal officiating. Burial will be private.
