"Even though we never met my Mother (Mary West) told me alot of stories about you when I was a kid, I also hear your name around town. you were a very loved and honored person. You are truley missed.

"I have many fond memories of Bro. Brooks and his family. He and my father, Thomas Ray (also a minister) were very good friends, and I can remember visiting with the Brooks family many, many times. Bro. Brooks will be missed by his family and friends here on this earth, but he was welcomed home by his family and friends that had gone on before him, and I know that my dad was one of those that was there to greet him.
