Mrs. Mary Elizabeth ThomasTRUMANN - Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Thomas, 69, of Trumann, died Saturday, June 7, 2008 at the family residence in Trumann, Ark. She was born in Benton, Ark., and had lived in Trumann for the past fifteen years moving from Jonesboro. She was a factor worker and worked at the nursing home in the laundry department and was a member of the First Baptist church in Harrisburg. Mrs. Thomas was preceded in death by her parents Ernest and Jenny Irene Campbell Pierce and two brothers. Survivors include her husband, Ralph Thomas of the home; three sons, Danny Braswell of Trumann, Ricky and Debra Braswell of West Helena, and David and Mistey Braswell of Jonesboro. One step-son, Jason Thomas of Trumann and one step-daughter Rene Tolbert of Trumann. One sister, Katherine Huett of Sarcoxie, MO. Seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren, Graveside services will be Tuesday morning June 10, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. Greg Hoskins officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Thompson Funeral Home of Trumann. Visitation will be Monday evening June 9, 2008 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann.
