Obituary

Mrs. Wilma Mae WellsTRUMANN - Mrs. Wilma Mae Wells, 85, of Trumann, died Monday, January 14, 2008 at Trumann Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was born in Greenfield, Arkansas and had lived most of her lifetime in Trumann. She was a homemaker and a member of the Healing Hands Community Church. Mrs. Wells was preceded in death by her husband, Jessie Willard Wells in 1996; one son, David Wayne Wells, Sr. in 1991 and by two brothers, Herbert Thompson and Fred Thompson and was the daughter of the late Nick and Bertha McBride Thompson.Survivors include one daughter, Mary Ruth Matthews; six grandchildren, Todd Matthews, Shannon Bruner, Misti Montgomery, Tim Matthews, David Wells, Jr., and Jerri Lynn Taylor; 9 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-granddaughter. Graveside services will be Wednesday afternoon at 1:30 p.m. at the Pine Hill Cemetery in Jonesboro, Ark., with Rev. Anthony Patterson officiating. Burial will follow in the Pine Hill Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Healing Hands Community Church or the Maple Grove Baptist Church. An online register book can be signed at www.thompsonfuneralhome.net.
