Mr. Bobby Ray Smith of Trumann was born on Saturday, August 30, 1947, the son of the late Mack H. and Omer Edna Willcockson Smith. Mr. Smith died Saturday, December 22, 2007 at the family residence in Trumann at the age of 60 years 3 months and 22 days. He was born in Trumann and was a lifetime member of the Trumann area. Mr. Smith was a factory worker. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one sister, Melba Stevens and two brothers, James Lee Smith and Lucian Leonard Smith. Survivors include two daughters, Teresa Smith and Judy Smith both of Jonesboro; one brother, Jerry Smith of Trumann; and one sister, Denita Martin of Mt. View, AR; and four grandchildren. Funeral services will be Thursday afternoon at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Thompson Funeral of Trumann with Bobby Merideth officiating. Burial will be private in the Rock Hill Cemetery in Jonesboro, Ark. Pallbearers will be Patrick Byerly, Grant Byerly, Cameron Byerly, Steve Willcockson, Kenny Thompson and Mark Grimes.
