"Johnny, My heart goes out to you in your loss of papa. Papa loved you dearly and thought of you as his own son and raised you from a baby into a fine man. I know he was your 'dad' in all the ways that truly count and there is no words that can take the pain away from the loss of your 'dad'. Just know that Papa is well now. He is no longer in pain and is probably now sitting on his new front porch, in his new rocker in heaven, sitting beside 'mama' and sending down his love to you, his 'special' grandson. He dearly loved you with all his heart and he showed it over and over on a daily basis. You were the light of his eyes for 52 years and that hasn't changed just because he has left this world. You are still the light of his loving eyes, they just shine down from Heaven now.
