"Herman, Mike and Myra: "Annie Mae" is the name that I remember my dad always teasingly calling Anita. Anita was a very precious and kind-hearted lady. She was like my "adopted grandmother" because she was my dad's secretary at Singer for such a long, long time. Then I remember when she went to work at Riceland and absolutely hated it. She would come by my house to visit my parents when they were visiting in Trumann from North Carolina to vent or fuss to my dad about her new job and would always remember to bring my dad his favorite dessert. He would always take a bite of whatever she brought him and tell her how delicious it was. She made my wedding cake 25 years ago, the cake for my baby shower 18 years ago and Nicole's first 4 or 5 birthday cakes. Anita will be missed by many people but I am sure there is a special place for people like her in Heaven. To the Gairhan Family - thanks so much for sharing Anita with my family so many times - I will always cherish the fond memories I have of Anita. Debbye Farmer Davis
