"Sorry for your loss. You are in my prayers
February 22, 2007
"Dear Family, We were so shocked and saddened by Aunt Emmy's death. She was so loved and I have such wonderful memories of her. Especially the homemade ice cream and coconut cakes. Patricia, remember after it rained and we "swam" in the field and she thought it was so funny as she scrubbed us clean with Tide? I feel so blessed to have known and loved her. Why didn't anyone let us know? Our family gets smaller all the time. Rick and I send you all our love and prayers.

"What a wonderful blessing to have your mother live to the wonderful age of 99!! I know all of you will miss her terribly and want you to know you are in our thoughts and prayers. The times I was around your mother or talked to her on the phone, she was always sweet and pleasant. I have enjoyed the wonderful stories Patricia has shared about her. I am so sorry that I missed her service, but didn't read about it in time to attend. May God bless you all with sweet, wonderful memories.Mary Ann Hodges (Clayton)
