"After meeting your family at the funeral home this week, I know that Jesus is already fulfilling His promise in Matthew 5:4 to comfort you as you grieve over Mrs. Gladys. But, please don't forget that Mrs. Gladys is not dead, only changed. She has a new address, having moved into her heavenly home! She would want each of you to find comfort in Jesus, her Savior and Hope. What a special lady! What a special family! The Kelleys

"Our sympathies go out to the entire family. Linda, Carolyn, Gene, and I were all so sorry we were unable to attend the visitation or funeral. We know how difficult losing a parent can be and our thoughts are with you.Take comfort in knowing she is not suffering and she is happy in her new home.

"I regret I never had the pleasure of meeting Mrs. Laird, but have enjoyed the very great pleasure of having her granddaughter, Judy, as a friend. Mrs. Laird's passing I know has left a large empty space in your family. But, my prayer is that God fills that with His Peace, Comfort and Grace. What a sweet testiment to her life that she left such an indelible mark on each of yours. May God Bless & Comfort You in your time of loss.Anita Scarborough
