Obituary
Mr. Roy Van Arms of Trumann, Ark., was born on Monday, June 14, 1915, the son of the late Ed and Dora Harrelson Arms. Mr. Arms died Friday, Sept. 15th, at Trumann Health and Rehabilitation at the age of 91 years, 3 months, and 1 day. Mr. Arms was born in Cord, Ark.., and had lived most of his lifetime in Trumann. He was retired from the Consumer Gas Service and a member of the First Baptist Church in Trumann. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jewel Arms in 2002, a son, Edward Arms in 1992, five brothers and his parents. He is survived by a daughter, Shelia Buchanan of Collierville, Tenn.; a brother, Troy Arms of Washington; a granddaughter, Brooke Arms of Trumann and three great-grandchildren. Graveside service will be Sunday afternoon at 2:00 p.m. at the Potters Memorial Cemetery in Lepanto, Ark., with Dr. Tad Rogers officiating. Burial will be under the direction of Thompson Funeral Home of Trumann.. Visitation will be Saturday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. at Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann.
