"Hello,My Grandmother Floetta (Stacy) Matthews was best friends with Lucille in Arkansas when they were young. My Grandmother moved to Florida and married Harvey Matthews also from Arkansas. Lucille came to visit Flo and met J.D. who was her brother. He was divorced and the story was told to me when my Grandmother died. Lucille and JD were dating and he asked her to marry him. Lucille asked my Grandmother--do you know any reason I should not marry him? She said no--so she married him! I always liked Lucille very much and after my Grandmother and mother died in Belle Glade 3 wks apart she wanted me and my two children to come stay with them for a bit before going back to Alaska--she had many stories to tell me about my Grandmother and family. I lost touch with her when she moved away and really missed not having the contact.
