"She was one of my very best friends, her mother and my mother the best of friends, her father and my father, the best of friends. We grew up together, both attending the Trumann Revival Center with Rev. Jess Adams (deceased)as our pastor. Of course that is where our Moms went, and sometimes our Daddys, and her brother, Dub, and his wife, Janice. It was there where I was the organist, and we were given the opportunity to sing "specials". Boyce Ann had a beautiful, distinct, voice. She would sing lead and I'd do alto, and I believe it was Brenda England that did tenor. We were good! It was with her that my mother let me do my first over-night bunk party (Boyce Ann, myself, and I believe the others were Lula Faye (Smith) Duncan, and Sharon Tippett. Will never forget that exciting night (we got into her Dad's cigars and tried to smoke (got really really sick). My memories will continue to recall our good times together, through our dating years and couldn'g stand it when she moved to Indiana. Don't remember ever having an argument.
