Obituary

Mrs. Susan Ann “Susie” Carter, 66, of Trumann departed this life on Friday at Arlington Cove Nursing Center in Trumann, Ark.. She was born in Jonesboro and lived most of her lifetime in Trumann. She was a homemaker and of the Pentecostal faith. She was preceded in death by three sisters, two brothers and her parents, James Herman and Inez Harper Young. She is survived by her husband, Charles M. Carter of Marked Tree; one daughter, Rhonda Sue Carter of Jonesboro; her Step-daughter, Melinda Ann Young of Paragould; four sisters, Betty Phillips of Shevlin, Minn., Mary Hanna and Doris Golden both of Trumann, and Shirley Rorex of Bay; one brother, Jimmy Ledbetter of McMinnville, Tenn., 10 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Memorial service will be Monday, July 17, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. at the Christian Worship Center, Hwy. 463 South of Trumann with Michael Calhoun officiating. Burial will be private.
