"I will always cherish the short time I got to sing with you, Jim, Albert and Rhonda. You were one of the good ones in this world. I'm glad I got to see you one more time at St, Bernard's. Rest in peace dear friend. Sing with the angels now.

"I am truly saddened to lose such a good friend. Doug and I met a couple of years ago when I became one of the nurses that visited him often. Over the last few years I grew to love him. Many hours were spent with him having conversations on everything from music, movies, politics, etc.....but my favorite talks were those where he would tell me stories about his life. I never grew tired of listening to them and always looked forward to hearing the next one. I can't put into words how much I will miss him and those talks. My deepest condolences to his family and friends. He was a great man and I am very thankful to have had the privilege to meet him.
