Mrs. Frances LaFarlett of Trumann departed this life on Tuesday, March 24, 2020 at the family residence at the age of 96 years, 2 months and 26 days.  She was born Thursday, December 27, 1923 in and a lifetime resident of Trumann.  She was a homemaker, retired from Singer Company and a member of Calvary Baptist Church.  She was preceded in death by her husband, D.C. LaFarlett; one daughter, Betty Haynie; four brothers, one sister and her parents, George Allen And Bessie Pauline Brothers Cagle.         She is survived by one daughter, Joann (Angelo) Taverna of Memphis. TN; two sons, James D. Swain and Billy (Patricia) Swain both of Trumann;  11 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren, and 11 great-great-grandchildren.       Based on the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention guidelines and recommendations pertaining to the COVID-19 pandemic, all funeral services will be for the immediate family members only.          Private graveside service will be Friday afternoon at Nettleton Cemetery in Jonesboro with Rev.
