Mr. Richard L. “Skeeter” Waters departed this life on Sunday, July 12, 2020 at the family residence in Trumann, AR at the age of 85 years, 4 months and 2 days.  He was born Sunday, March 10, 1935 in and a lifetime resident of Trumann.  He was a retired truck driver for Coca Cola and of the Baptist faith.  He was preceded in death by one sister, Edith Dycus; two brothers, Ray Waters and infant brother and his parents, Samuel and Nannie Polk Waters.       He is survived by his wife, Nina Henderson Waters of the home; one son, Fred Waters of Ward, AR; one daughter, Betty Richardson of Trumann; 4 grandchildren, Jason Waters, Jimmy Knight, Cassie Richardson, Jonathan Richardson; 4 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren.          Visitation will be Tuesday morning from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann.  Graveside service will be at 1:00 p.m. in Oaklawn Cemetery in Jonesboro with Rev.
