Mr. John Thomas Miller of Trumann departed this life on Wednesday, November 4, 2020 at the family residence at the age of 77 years, 6 months and 20 days..  He was born Thursday, April 15, 1943 in Paragould, AR and lived in Trumann for the past three years.  He worked in the produce office for M.E. Carter for 38  years and also rebuilt cars  for over 30  years for Harvey’s Body Shop and a member of Lebanon Missionary Baptist Church in Poughkeepsie, Arkansas.  He was preceded in death by 1 sister, 1 brother and his parents, Lucian and Selma Vaughn Miller.     He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Rosemary Oxford Miller of the home; two sons, Ryan Michael Miller of Jonesboro, and Donald Gray of Bay; three daughters, Janet Martin of Paragould, Connie Miller of Jonesboro, and Regina Heatherly of Trumann; 6 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren.       The family will receive friends Sunday from 2:00 to 3:00 pm at Pleasant Valley Baptist Church.  A Celebration of Life will follow at 3:00 p.m. with Rev. Phillip Lewallen and Josh Martin officiating.  Burial will be Monday morning at 11:00 a.m. at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery in Birdeye, AR.             In compliance with COVID-19 restrictions, social distancing will be required along with face masks and the signing of a COVID-19 form.       An online register book can be signed at www.thompsonfuneralhome.net.
