Obituary
Mr. Tommy Gene Fagan departed this life Saturday, June 3, 2017 surrounded by his family at the age of 66 years, 10 months and 26 days. He was born Saturday, July 8, 1950 in Decatur, Alabama and had lived most of his lifetime in Trumann. He was a retired veteran of the Marines serving in Vietnam and a member of the Providence Baptist Church. Mr. Fagan was preceded in death by three brothers, W.C. Fagan, Paul Glen Fagan and Shelby Fagan and his parents, William and Jessie Morris Fagan. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Margaret Dickens Fagan of the home; two daughters, Dominiquese and husband Kevin Cox of Russellville and Danielle Fagan of Trumann; three grandchildren, Calin Cox, Ethan Cox and Jaidon Fagan Rhodes; two sisters, Edna Rogers of Winona, MS; and Mary Bowden of Ft. Walton, FL.; five brothers, Billy Fagan and Joey Fagan both of Trumann, Sherrill Fagan of Pleasant Plains, Willard Fagan of Malvern and Jimmy Fagan of Harrison, AR. Funeral service will be Tuesday evening at 6:00 p.m. in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home with Rev. Bobby Brooks officiating. Burial will be private. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 5:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Thompson Funeral Home. An online register book can be signed at www.thompsonfuneralhome.net.
