Obituary
Mrs. Edna Smith Davis, 90, of Trumann died Thursday, December 31, 2020 in Jonesboro, Arkansas. She was born in Florence, Alabama and had lived in Trumann since 1968 She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, James H. Davis; 4 sons, Jim Earl Davis, Bobby L. Davis, James Ray Davis, and Danny Davis; 2 daughters, Janie L. Eldridge and Helen L. Renshaw; grandchildren, Mark Renshaw, Larry Eldridge Jr., Bobby Ray Davis, 4 sisters, 6 brothers and her parents, Frank and Maudie Strickland Smith. Several nieces and nephews.
She is survived by two sisters, Helen Turner of Payneway, Arkansas and Elsie Witt of Black Oak, Arkansas. 5 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Monday evening from 5:00 until 6:00 p.m. at Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann.
Graveside service will be Wednesday afternoon at 1:00 p.m. at Murphys Chapel Cemetery in Florence, Alabama.
In compliance with Covid-19 guidelines, a mask or other facial covering is required, a Covid-19 acknowledgement form is required to be signed and social distancing will be observed.
