Obituary
Mrs. Dessie Lee Moody, of Trumann, Arkansas departed this life on Friday, January 8, 2021, at the age of 85 years, 4 months and 24 days at NEA Baptist Hospital in Jonesboro. She was born on Thursday, August 15, 1935 to the late Edgar and Bevie Brewer Corter in Mountain View, Ark. and had lived most of her lifetime in Trumann., Mrs. Moody was a former employee of Thomas & Betts of Jonesboro and member of the First Assembly of God in Trumann. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Lee “Ed” Moody; Daughter Brenda Kay Pagan; 4 brothers and her parents.
Dessie is survived by three sons; Eddie Joe Moody, Steve Ray Moody, and Tim Dewayne (Missy) Moody all of Trumann; her son-in-law; James Pagan of Trumann; one sister, Gwen Thompson of Batesville, AR.
Graveside service will be Tuesday afternoon at 1:00 P.M. at Levisy Flat Cemetery in Mountain View, Ark, with Rev. Kenneth Doke and Travis Moody officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Thompson Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Eric Pagan, Shannon Moody, Tanner Moody, Travis Moody, Trent Moody and Trey Moody.
In compliance with Covid-19 guidelines, a mask or other facial covering is required, a Covid-19 acknowledgement form is required to be signed and social distancing will be observed.
