Obituary
Mrs. Frances Lowery of Warm Springs, AR formerly of Harrisburg Central Community passed away Thursday, February 18, 2021 at St. Bernards Medical Center at the age of 74 years, 11 months and 17 days. She was of the Baptist faith and a member of the former Promise Land Missionary Baptist Church. Frances was a former employee of Baldwin Piano and currently retired. She was the daughter of the late George Claude and Annie Belle Williams, Jr. Frances was married to the late Doyal Lowery. She was preceded in death by five brothers, James, Luther, Charles, Tony and Pat Williams; and one sister, Nancy Lowery.
She is survived by three sons, Jimmy (Michelle) Lowery of England, James (Sherri) Lowery and Gaylen (Tabitha) Lowery of Harrisburg; two daughters, Kim (Greg) Chaffin of Warm Springs, AR and Sheryl Lowery of Biggers, AR; Grandchildren, Courtney, Aaron Christopher, Wesley Chance, Sydney, Sabrina, Destiny, Joseph, Austin, Danielle, Tyler, Myles and Blane; great-grandchildren, Layken, Case, Maddox, Reed, Harrison, Coralie and Silas; three sisters, Debra Benson, Judy Garner, and Linda Collins; three brothers, Barry, Michael and Tim Williams.
The family will receive friends Tuesday evening 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at First General Baptist Church. Celebration of Life will follow at 6:00 with Rev. Darrel Miller officiating. Burial will be private at Holy Springs Cemetery in Harrisburg, AR.
Pallbearers will be Tyler Chaffin, Myles Chaffin, Blane Chaffin, Christopher Lowery, Aaron Lowery, Wesley Chance Lowery, Joseph Stracener and Austin Lowery.
In compliance with Covid-19 guidelines, social distancing will be observed, a mask or other facial covering is required, and a Covid-19 acknowledgement form is required to be signed.
