Obituary
Betty Presley of Shorewood, Il, formerly of Trumann, Ark departed from this life, Saturday, February 27, 2021 at the age of 83 years, 6 months and 6 days. She was born on Saturday, August 21, 1937 to the late George and Sybil Ballard. Betty was married to the late Melvin Presley. Betty was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Betty was an employee for 40 years at Victor Dana Corp performing a job that she loved and was deeply respected by her peers. Betty enjoyed gardening, flowers, birds and all small creatures and most of all nothing was more important to her then her children and their families. She will be deeply missed. She was also preceded in death by her husband; 2 brothers, Bobby Ballard and Carlton Ballard.
She is survived by 2 daughters; Karen Stehlik of Matteson, Il, Teresa (John) Baunach of Hinckley, Il and 1 son, Ray Presley of Shorewood, Il. 7 grandchildren; Brad (Kasia) Stehlik, John Paul (Katherine) Baunach, Stephanie (Mike) Smith, Sarah (David) Nourzad, Ashley (Andrew) Leoni, Amanda Baunach, and Alyssa (Nolan) Wolfe. 13 great-grandchildren; Kaley, Andrew, Ava, Brooklyn, Mason, Madelyn, Lucas, Zoe, Logan, Mila, Ethan, Vivian and Peyton; and 3 sisters, Carolyn Farmer of Trumann, Darleen (Gary) Blasingame of Cedar Springs, MI and Cricket Ballard of Trumann.
The family will receive friends at Wednesday from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann. A Celebration of Life will be Thursday at 10:00 am at Thompson Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Harles Banks officiating. Burial will follow in Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery in Jonesboro, Ark
Pallbearers will be Brad Stehlik, John Paul Baunach, John Baunach, Gary Blasingame, Lee Ballard, and Brian Harp.
