Mrs. Cora Lafay Loveless departed this life on Monday, May 8, 2017 at St. Vincent Hospital in Little Rock, Ark., at the age of 86 years, 6 months and 5 days. She was born Monday, November 3, 1930 in and lived most of her lifetime in Trumann. Mrs. Loveless was a retired bookkeeper for Singer and Arbor Company and was a member of Viva Drive Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Loveless; one sister, Melba Johnston; and the daughter of the late John Gilbert and Arvorene Roberts McCord. She is survived by one daughter, Gina LaFarlett and husband Michael of Little Rock, Ark; two grandchildren, Beth Jensen and husband Tre of Ramstein Air Base, Germany and Chase Montgomery and wife Ashley of Jonesboro, Ark; two great-grandchildren, Cooper Jensen and Ty Marshall Montgomery; and three sisters, Annette Owens and Cheri Smith of Trumann and Joyce Barnett of Jonesboro, Ark. Funeral services will be Thursday morning at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home with Joe Spangler and Joe Mitchell officiating. Burial will follow in Oaklawn Cemetery in Jonesboro, Ark. Pallbearers will be Robbie Owens, Shawn Patterson, Phillip Patterson, Bryan Johnston, Christopher Mitchell and Michael LaFarlett.
