Obituary
Bobby “Beau” Ballard, Jr., of Trumann departed from this life on Monday, October 18, 2021 at Quail Run Nursing Home in Trumann at the age of 51 years, 2 months and 17 days. He was born Saturday, August 1, 1970 in Jonesboro and lived most of his lifetime in Trumann. Beau was a 1988 graduate of THS. Beau was a florist at Ballard’s Flowers and was of the Baptist faith. Beau went out of his way to be a kind hearted person. He was very generous and would often give flowers to the older ladies in his mothers beauty shop and balloons to any child that came in as well. His heart was that of gold. His greatest accomplishment in life was being a dad and best friend to his girls Lexie and Anna-Claire. He was a avid Lake Norfork lover and enjoyed taking his pontoon out on the lake. He enjoyed golfing and any type of yard work and landscaping. All in all he loved life and put a lot of good in others lives around him. He was preceded in death by his father, Bobby Ballard, Sr., bonus dad, Eugene Richardson, his nanny and papa, Opal and Harold Worley; and Grandma and Grandpa George and Sibyl Ballard.
He is survived by two daughters, Alexandria “Lexie” Ballard of Trumann and Anna-Claire Ballard of Bradenton, FL his mother, Rosemary Richardson of Trumann; significant other, Kim Luna Gordon of Trumann and many cousins and friends.
Visitation will be Wednesday, from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann. A celebration of life will follow at 6:00 p.m. in the chapel with Rev. Darrel Miller officiating. Private burial will be Thursday.
Pallbearers will be Lee Ballard, Todd Worley, Robert Trammel, Cody Penter, Troy Lairson, Debbye Davis, David Gregory and Jeff Holman. Honorary pallbearers are Gary Jo McIllwain and Jason Brown.
In compliance with Covid-19 guidelines, a mask or other facial covering will be optional and social distancing will be observed.
