Obituary
Mrs. Flora Katherine ”Kat Kat” Blasingame McMullin of Trumann departed this life on Sunday, May 8, 2022 at the age of 76 years, 2 months and 4 days. She was born Monday, March 4, 1946 in Trumann and a lifetime resident of Central Community. She was a member of Central Community Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Glen McMullin; two sisters, Wanda Glowacz, and Dianna Osment; five brothers, J.M. Blasingame, Paul Blasingame, Bud Blasingame, Vernon Blasingame, and Calvin Blasingame and her parents, James Madison and Opal Pauline Blasingame.
She is survived by one son, Michael Glen (Debbie) McMullin of Jonesboro; four grandchildren, Michael Kevin McMullin, Corbyn W. McMullin, Jessica L. (Daniel) McCracken, and Johnny B. Sutterfield; one great-grandson, Sutton McCracken; two brothers, Keith (Shelia) Blasingame of Trumann and David (Margaret) Blasingame of Auburndale, FL; four sisters, Nancy (Carl) White of Jonesboro, Patsy (Thomas) Davis of Trumann, Charlotte (Ronnie) Baxter of Jonesboro, and Marlene (Floyd) Hancock of Trumann;
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. at Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann, AR. A celebration of life will follow at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Loggins officiating. Burial will follow at Harrisburg Memorial Park Cemetery in Harrisburg.
