Obituary

Rex Dale “Bobby” Kirkland of Trumann departed this life on Tuesday, May 17, 2022 at NEA Baptist Hospital in Jonesboro, AR., at the age of 67 years 8 months and 23 days.  He was born on Tuesday, August 24, 1954  in Trumann where he lived his lifetime.  He was preceded in death by one brother, Stanley Kirkland; two grandchildren, Amy Kirkland and Tyler Kirkland; his parents, Rex Kirkland and Geneva Kirkland.      He is survived by one son, Josh Kirkland; one step-son, David Phillips; daughter-in-law Jennifer Kirkland; nephew Kyle Bryant and two grandchildren, Chase Kirkland and Alexis Creecy.       Graveside service will be Monday, May 23, 2022 at 1:30 p.m. at Holly Springs Cemetery near Harrisburg, AR, with  Nicky Rhoads officiating.  Burial is under the direction of Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann.      Visitation will be Monday 23rd from 11:00 A.M. to 12 Noon at Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann.       Online guest book can be signed at www.thompsonfuneralhome.net

"To the rest of our family and friends Bobby you will always be missed and remembered in our hearts for ever and always Bobby was a really good man and fath,grand father,uncle brother in law and friend and much much more he will always be in my heart and remembered. Bobby not only was my uncle but was a dear friend and I'll always have the memories we shared in my heart. To his family that knew him best knew Bobby to always be a character and always have a good laugh to offer even in the worst of times and offered the best advice on things in life. Well will miss him and always think of him. I know I'll definitely definitely miss him as I'm sure many fay member and friiends will as well. Luv you uncle Bobby and I'll miss u very much.
