Mr. George Arthur Wood of Trumann died Saturday, May 28, 2022 in Trumann at the age of 84 years, 6 months and 29 days.  He was born Friday, October 29, 1937 in and was a lifetime resident of Trumann.  George was a retired supervisor for Arkansas Glass and a member of First Baptist Church in Trumann.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Danell Wood; one daughter, Cherie Renee Wood Jones, one son-in-law, Rickey Jones, brother-in-law Bill Henley, one nephew, Billy Martin Kinnett, and his parents, John Paskel and Ida Leota Cooper Wood He is survived by four grandchildren, Erica (Brandon) Jones of Trumann, and Skylar (Justin) Jones, Dane Hubbard of Trumann and Dillon (Katie) Hubbard of Trumann; four great-grandchildren, Ian Straver, Aurora Straver, Molly Hubbard and Owen Hubbard; two sisters, Melba Henley of Osceola, IN and Mary (Thamos) Straub of Auburn, GA; one nephew, David Henley; two great-nephews, Robbie and Chandler Kinnett; and daughter-in-law, Connie Jones of Harrisburg. The family will receive friends Thursday from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann.     Celebration of life service will follow at 6:00 p.m. in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home with Rev. John Maley officiating.  Burial will be private.     Lasting memorials can be made to First Baptist Church, P.O.
