Kenneth Robert Barrett of Bay departed this life on Tuesday, May 31, 2022 at NEA Baptist Hospital in Jonesboro, AR at the age of 81 years, 8 months and 23 days. He was born Baldwyn, MS and lived most of his lifetime in Bay.was a retired factory worker and a member of First Baptist Church in Bay.enjoyed fishing, hunting and hanging out at the garage.  He was preceded in death by his parents, William Robert and Luna Marie McAnally Barrett. He is survived by two brothers, Gerral (Patsy) Barrett and Terry (Ginger) Barrett both of Jonesboro, one sister, Ruby McDaniel of Trumann; one nephew, Chad Barrett of Valley View and niece, Sherry Shaw of Rogers, AR. The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 2nd from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. at Thompson Funeral Home.  A Celebration of Life will follow at 1:00 p.m. with Dr. Jim Shaw officiating. Burial will follow at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery in Jonesboro, AR. In compliance with COVID-19 guidelines, a mask or other facial covering is optional, and social distancing will be observed.
