Mrs. Royce Henrietta Howard of Bay passed away Saturday, June 11, 2022 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis, TN at the age of 56 years, 5 months and 15 days. She was born Monday, December 27, 1965 in Trumann and lived most of her life in the Trumann and Bay area. Royce was a RN at NEA Baptist Hospital and a nurse for 31 years. She also was a member of Neals Chapel Baptist Church for many years. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jimmy Moore and Mearle Bushong Brown; and her aunt and uncle who raised her, Leslie and Lillian Persinger. She is survived by one daughter, Taya Howard of Bay; one brother, Scott Moore of Bay and two nephews, Zach Moore of Trumann and Dylan Moore of Paragould. The family will receive friends Monday from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at Thompson Funeral Home. A celebration of life will be Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home with Rev. Michael Hudgens officiating. Burial will follow at Leachville Cemetery in Leachville, AR. Pallbearers will be Scott Moore, Zach Moore and Dylan Moore.
