Obituary
Mr. James Michael Lindsey departed this life on Tuesday, June 21, 2022 at the family residence, at the age of 64 years and 28 days. He was born Saturday, May 24, 1958 in Lincoln, Illinois he moved to Trumann in 2016 and was formerly of Bloomington, IL. James retired from Illinois Laborers’ & Contractors Joint Apprenticeship & Training Program and was a proud member of LIUNA Local 362 for more than 30 years and was of the Christian faith. He was preceded in death by two brother, Daniel Lee Lindsey; and Larry Lindsey, one sister, Patty and his parents, James William “Bill” and Beulah Mae Ackerman Lindsey.
He is survived by his wife of 19 years, Diane Reed Lindsey; one brother, Timothy of Armington, IL; and two sisters, Alice Lindsey of Rockport, IN and Karen Baldus of Alvaton, KY., 17 nieces and nephews and 21 great nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Friday, July 1st from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. at Thompson Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life will follow at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home with Rev. Bruce Lindsey officiating. Burial will be private.
