Betty Ruth Rugg, of Trumann, departed this life Sunday, July 31,at NEA Baptist Hospital in Jonesboro, AR at the age of 81 years, 5 months, and 10 days. She was born Friday February 21, 1941 in Sylvester, GA and lived in Trumann for the past 2 years and was formerly of Lenox, GA. She worked at Bruce Fox Trophy Shop and was of the Baptist faith.  She was preceded in death by one daughter, Tannis Strickland, one brother, William “Bill” Blankenship and her parents, Otha and Josie Shaw Blankenship.       She is survived by one daughter, Ella Kilpatrick of Tifton, FL; two sons, Marcus Rugg of Tifton, GA and Kerry (Margie) Rugg of Trumann and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.       A celebration of life will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, August 5th, 2022, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals with the Rev. John David   Thomas officiating. Ms. Rugg will be laid to rest at Oak Ridge Cemetery in Tifton, Georgia. The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 4, 2022, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.       An online register book can be signed at www.thompsonfuneralhome.net
