"I just found out Charlie died last October, and wish I'd have made it back down to see him again. I last saw him when I visited in 2016, and we had a fun talk about all the hell we raised as kids, and the other Gean family members. He was a great and interesting cousin, who will be missed by everybody he ever knew.

When I go in your house I breakdown crying because I want to see you sitting on the couch saying “hey bubba”. I will miss you cheering Ashlyn on at her games and giving her great advice. I will miss seeing you love Nick and Meredith like your own blood. Dad I was there as you took your last breath and I pray I see you again after I take my last breath. Please watch over us and protect us. Angela is trying her best to comfort me but she is hurting too. She loved you more than life itself. I’ll see you again Daddy! I love you and will miss you for the rest of my life!

"My good friend and neighbor for the past 40 years. He was a hard working simple man who loved his family, especially his son Brandon. He talked about playing baseball when younger. I assume he was better than an average player!!! He loved his CHEVY or GMC trucks. Went to bed with the chickens and up with the roosters. I'm gonna miss hollering, hey Chug-a-Lug, when I seen him outside. Rest In Peace my friend until we meet again.
