Waymon Rudolph “Do-Dah” Williams of Marked Tree, departed this life on Saturday, December 17th at the Flo & Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro at the age of 75 years, 3 months, and 16 days.  Mr. Williams was born in Trumann, Ark., and had lived most of his lifetime in the Marked Tree and Trumann area. He was a retired farmer and a member of Corners Chapel Baptist Church in Payneway, Ark. Mr. Williams was preceded in death by one sister, Lula Bell Carroll; five brothers, Harvey, Donald Wayne, Norman Douglas, Crogen Everett “C.E.” and Michael Williams and was the son of the late Louis Waymon and Cora Lee Rowe Williams. Mr. Williams is survived by his sister and her son, Lucille and Roger Dale Williams of the home, three other sisters, Tedola Hammock of Poplar Bluff, MO. Mona O’Shields and Barbara Russell both of Marked Tree, Ark.; one brother Dennis Williams of Louisville, KY and many nieces, nephews and friends galore. Visitation will be Tuesday December 20th from 11:30 to 1:00 p.m. at the Corners Chapel Baptist Church in Payneway. A celebration of life will follow at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Glenn Hurst officiating.
