Obituary
Mrs. Agnus Pauline Hicks, 92 of Trumann departed this life Friday, December 30, 2022 at Ridgecrest Nursing Center in Jonesboro. She was born in Uno, Ark., and had lived most of her lifetime in Trumann. Mrs. Hicks was a former employee of the Singer Company in Trumann and of the Pentecostal faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charley A. Hicks, Sr.; one daughter, Brenda Jane Hicks Clem, one grandson, Greg Clem and was the daughter of the late Charley and Martha Orr Headley.
She is survived by one son, Charley Hicks Jr. and wife Janice of Trumann; one granddaughter, Carissa Steed and husband Kevin of Hot Springs, Ark.; two great-grandchildren, Emma and Everly Specht; one sister, Virginia Jones of Florence, Alabama.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 4th from 10 to 11 a.m. at Thompson Funeral Home of Trumann. A celebration of life will follow at 11 a.m. in the chapel with Rev. Allen Jones and Rev. Danny Williams officiating. Burial will follow in Marked Tree Cemetery in Marked Tree, Ark.
Active pallbearers will be Doug Rupard, Bobby Hightower, Junior Hendrix, Gaylon Brooks, Dee Hendrix, Kenny Raby, Kevin Steed and Ken Daniel.
