Mary Ellen Thomas of Trumann departed this life Thursday, February 23, 2023 at the family residence at the age of 69 years, 4 months and 30 days.  She was born Thursday, September 24, 1953 in Clayton, MO and had lived in Trumann for seventeen years formerly of  the St. Louis area.  Mary had worked in a restaurant business as a bus lady.   She was of the catholic faith.  She was  preceded in death by her parents Gerald Alexander and Marie Helen Roth Thomas, and one brother Gerald Michael “Jerry” Thomas.        She is survived by her partner of 50 years, Rose Marie Heard of the home; 1/2 brother Patrick “Pat” Wright of St. Louis; 1/2 sister, Betty Berra of Fenton, Mo; several nieces, nephews, step-children and step-grandchildren.         Celebration of life will be Monday, February 27th at 2:00 in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home with Rev.
