Obituary
Mrs. Pauline Duke Talley of Memphis, TN., departed this life Wednesday, March 1, 2017 at Germantown Methodist Hospital at the age of 85 years, 5 months, and 4 days. She was born Friday, September 25, 1931 in Caraway and lived in Memphis the last 7 years and was formerly of the Trumann area. She was a housewife and of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herman Talley; one daughter, Sarah Jane Talley; one step-son, Houston Talley; three sisters, Geneva Parks, Vera Luff and Mary Ellen Stevens; one brother, Bobby Duke and her parents, Robert and Minnie Anderson Duke. She is survived by one granddaughter, Brandi Gruber and husband Greg of Memphis, TN; one grandson, Thomas Bradford and wife Krystal of Little Rock, AR; four great-grandchildren, Nathan Gruber, Kaitlyn Gruber, Colin Bradford, and Carter Bradford; and two sisters, Clara Luff of Caraway, AR and Eudean Reeves of Monticello, KY. Graveside services will be Friday morning at 11:00 a.m. at Caraway Cemetery with Rev. Rick Stevens officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Thompson Funeral Home of Trumann. "Rest In Peace Aunt Pauline! My favorite memories are coming to Caraway for summer vacations and having our families together at Grandma and Grandpa Dukes place. I remember Uncle Herman use to scare me to death as a policemen. Sarah Jane and I use to stay up all night laughing and talking. Give my dad and your sisters/my aunts a big hug in heaven when you see them.XO Jeff
