Bobby Duane Adams of Trumann departed this life Friday, September 22, 2023 at the age of 86 years, 8 months and 6 days.  He was born Saturday, January 16, 1937 in Trumann and was a lifetime resident.  Mr. Adams was a retired farmer and after retirement he took care of the Trumann Country Club golf course and was of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his wife, Emma Dale Triplett Adams; one sister, Guiula Bass Flannigan and two brothers, Billy and Grant Adams and was the son of the late Herbert Oakley and Nettie Almeda Burgess Adams. Bobby is survived by two daughters; Angela Flippo and husband Brad of Walnut Ridge, Ark., and Alicia Everhart and husband Jimbo of Trumann; three grandchildren, Drew and Ty Flippo and Connor Everhart. The family will receive friends on Thursday, Sept. 28th from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann.  A celebration of life will follow at 1:30 p.m. with Garry Bass and Dr. Brett Cooper officiating.  Burial will follow in Pine Log Cemetery in Brookland, AR., with Thompson Funeral Home of Trumann in charge.             Pallbearers will be Jeb Bass, John Bass, Bradley Wallace, Hunter Adams. Matt Moon and Clay McClung.  Honorary pallbearers are Dennis Morgan, Claud Greer, Garry Bass, Gary McClung, Scott Taylor, Gary Smith and Gary Russell.
