"Psalm 34:18 says: "Jehovah is close to the brokenhearted; He saves those who are crushed in spirit". And I hope that it helps to know that others care.

"Please accept my sincere condolences during this time of grief. My hope is that the words of Christ Jesus be of comfort, when he stated that "the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out" (John 5: 28, 29). We can also take comfort in God's personal promise to "wipe out every tear" and that soon, even "death will be no more" (Revelation 21: 4).

"Doug, I am so sorry for your loss of Jimmie. I will continue to keep you in my prayers as you transition from a life of care giver. You are a good man that I'm sure gave her great comfort knowing you were always there for her. Your church family will comfort you as best we know how, but let us know if you need anything.Sondra Onstead
