Phyllis Marie Gandy of Trumann, departed this life Friday, February 2, 2024 at Willowbend Healthcare and Rehabilitation in Marion, AR at the age of 95 years, 5 months and 17 days. She was born August 16, 1928 in Corning, AR to the late William Hardy Holmes and Lydia Rhoades Holmes. She moved to Trumann in 1964. She was a housewife and a member of Central Missionary Baptist Church in Trumann. She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband Henry Cupp; her second husband Charles Gandy; three sons, Dickie Cupp, Jimmy Cupp, Steve Cupp; and four brothers.       She is survived by two daughters, Vickie Shipley of Marion, AR and Colleen Armstrong of Jonesboro, AR; ten grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.       The family will receive friends Tuesday, February 6th from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann. A Celebration of Life will follow with the Rev. Blake Jamison officiating. Burial will  be in Marked Tree Cemetery.       Active Pallbearers will be Dustin Osment, Tyler McGinnis, Jackson McGinnis, Chase Armstrong, Mason Armstrong and Sam Shipley. Honorary Pallbearers will be: Derreck Smith, Greg Armstrong and Beckett Osment.      Lasting memorials can be made to Central Missionary Baptist Church, 610 W. Speedway, Trumann, AR 72472.
