Willie Ray Jones, Sr., of Trumann, departed this life on Friday, November 1, 2024, at Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro, AR. He was born on Sunday, July 7, 1946 in Trumann, AR at the age of 78 years 3 months and 25 days and was a lifetime resident of Trumann.  Mr. Jones worked for ADT Company, Ridout Door of Searcy, and was a formerly employee of the Singer Co.  He was a member of the First Assembly of God in Trumann.  He was preceded in death by  his wife, Linda M. Newton Jones and his parents, Willie A and Ethel Mae Hawkins Jones       Survivors include one daughter, Sherri Southerland Milligan of Trumann, one son, Ray Jones, Jr., of Trumann; 8 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.       Family will receive friends on Monday, November 4, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Thompson Funeral Home of Trumann.  A graveside service will follow at 11:30 at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev.
