Obituary
Sherry Lynn LaPiro departed this life on Friday, April 11, 2025 at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro, AR at the age of 63 years 5 months and 5 days. She was born in Jonesboro, AR and lived most of her lifetime in Trumann. She was a home health caretaker and of the Pentecostal faith. Sherry loved to sew and embroidery and taking care of everybody. She was preceded in death by her father, Ed Barnes; step-dad, Clyde Graves; and one brother, Joey Barnes.
She is survived by one son, Chris (Tracy) Hisaw of Trumann; one daughter, Jenny Hisaw of Trumann; her mother, Betty Ann Cook Graves of Trumann; two brothers, Clyde Jr (Melissa) Graves of North Vernon, IN and Timothy (Donna) Graves of Osceola, IN; two sisters, Beverly Pitts of Trumann and Donna Graves-Maggart of Osceola, IN; two grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great nephews.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 12:30 p.m. til 1:30 p.m. at Thompson Funeral Home. A celebration of life will follow at 1:30 p.m. in the chapel with Rose Bishop officiating. Burial will follow at Shiloh Cemetery near Harrisburg.
Active pallbearers will be Gavin Burnett, Ethan Clayton, Derrick Bishop, Neil Clem, Mitchell Grant and Zachary Clayton. Honorary pallbearers will be Dyson Burnett and Amanda Ward
