Obituary
James Richardson of Trumann departed this life Tuesday, June 17th at the family residence atthe age of 90 years, 4 months and 24 days. He was born Thursday, January 24, 1935 in Jonesboro and lived most of his lifetime in Trumann. James was a retired mail carrier and a member of Pleasant Valley Baptist Church. He loved to fish and photography. He was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Betty Richardson; his parents, Orville and Mabel Witcher Richardson; two brothers, Kenneth Richardson and Chester Richardson.
He is survived by one daughter, Patricia (Stan) Sysak of Heber Springs, AR. one son, David Richardson of Trumann; one sister, Phyllis (Kenneth) Johnson of Paragould, AR; 4 grandchildren, Vicky Whisler, Amy Sysak, Marcy Walsh and Stanley Sysak; and 5 great-grandchildren, Willow Whisler, Hayden Whisler, Hatton Fielder, Owen Walsh and Emmy Walsh.
Pallbearers will be Stan Sysak, Phillip Bowers, Tim Johnson, Stacy Tritch, Kash Tritch and Kenneth Johnson.
Visitation will be Friday from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at Pleasant Valley Baptist Church in Trumann. A celebration of life will follow at 1:30 p.m. with Rev. Kevin Carter and Rev. Larry Loggins officiating. Burial will follow in Pine Log Cemetery in Brookland, AR under the direction of Thompson Funeral Home of Trumann.
