Obituary
Mrs. Wanda Lou Wagner 80, of Trumann departed this life on Sunday, September 7, 2025 at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro, AR. Wanda was born Sunday February 18, 1945 in Weiner and lived most of her lifetime in Trumann. She was a retired bank teller who loved planting flowers in her flowerbed around her house and was a member of Pleasant Valley Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Truman (Dutch) and Feekla Bame Walker , one son, Tony Wagner and two sisters, Maudine Webb and son in law, John Ballard .
She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Billy Wagner, Sr. of the home; one son, Bill (Vanessa) Wagner, Jr of Jonesboro, one daughter, Camelia Ballard of Trumann and five grandchildren, Patrick Ballard, Rhett (Lauren) Ballard, Brant Ballard, Luke (Baley) Wagner and Faith Wagner.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, September 9, 2025 from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m. at Thompson Funeral Home. A celebration of life will follow Tuesday, at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Loggins and Rev. Kevin Carter officiating. Burial will follow in the Nettleton Cemetery in Jonesboro, Ark.
Pallbearers will be Patrick Ballard, Rhett Ballard, Luke Wagner, Aaron Murphy, Johnny Harold Wagner and Daniel Wagner. Honorary pallbearer will be Shawn Blanchard.
