"To Harry, Scott, and all those who knew Elizabeth, may God be with you to bring comfort and strength. She was such a wonderful example of a Christian lady. I remember that she and her dear mother left a lasting impression on my in my youth. Now, she has gone on to her reward, but may knowing that Heaven will be her eternal home bring you comfort.

"As my 4th grade teacher, she was bigger than life to me. She walked with the confidence of a beauty queen and the wit of the greatest court storytellers. All of these years later, I still see her gentle eyes and feel her all encompassing hugs when any of us needed them. I loved going to school because she had a way of teaching us that pulled me into whatever it was we were learning. Because of this beautiful lady (and Ms. McCain in 2nd grade), I love books and learning! I will forever be grateful for teachers who bring their hearts every single day! Her light will be missed. To her family, she was loved by many.

"I'm deeply sorry for your loss. Elizabeth was always so thoughtful in coming to visit my aunt and uncle, Dorothy and Jules Martin. Always bringing something good to eat that she had prepared. She was such a sweet and kind person. I'll always be grateful to her. I know she is rejoicing in heaven right now, wrapped in the joy and promise she believed in so deeply. May you feel God's peace surround you during this difficult time.
