Mrs. Mammie Ruth Craig Burnett Imler of Trumann departed this life on Thursday, August 31, 2016 at NEA Baptist Hospital in Jonesboro, Ark., at the age of 79 years 7 months and 1 day. She was born January 30, 1937 to the late Alexander and Elizabeth Stephens Craig. She was a lifetime resident of Trumann, a seamstress for the former Salant & Salant and a member of the Trumann Revival Center. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Henry Burnett, two sons, Billy Joe Burnett and Eddie Wayne Burnett 5 sisters, 3 brothers and her parents. She is survived by husband, W.C. Imler of the home; one daughter, Donna Faye Cobb of Nashville, TN, one brother, Doyle

"So very sorry to hear of the passing of this very kind lady. She was my mother in law for many years when I was married to her sob, Billy Joe Burnett. Bill & I share a daughter, Dayna Burnett, who will be delivering Ruth's great grandson, Wesley Turner Ryer, today September 2, 2016 at 11am by c-section here in Montgomery, Alabama. Dayna doesn't know her grandma Ruth has passed away yet & I'm not going to tell her until after Turner is safely delivered. But I know that all the Burnetts will be smiling down as Dayna brings this first grandson into the world. Grand Bill would have loved this! I am so so sorry Grandma Ruth, Grandpa Henry, Uncle Eddie Grand Bill aren't here. Aunt Donna if you read this please contact me. Debbye
