Mr. Tommy Milton Settlemire, Sr., 63, of Harrisburg, Ark. died Wednesday, March 2, 2016 at the family residence at the age of 63 years, 1 month and 12 days. Mr. Settlemire was born Monday, January 19, 1953 in Trumann, Ark., and was a lifetime resident of Harrisburg and Trumann area. He was a farmer and of the Pentecostal faith. He was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Settlemire and his father, Sam Milton Settlemire. He is survived by three sons, Tommy Settlemire, Jr. and Melvin Settlemire both of Harrisburg and Bradley Greer of Cherry Valley, Ark.; one grandson, Ethan Alexander Deboard; his mother, Helen Juanita Adams Settlemire Tucker of Trumann; four sisters, Juanita Butler of Heber Springs, Ark., Rosie Hillis and Annette Ward both of Trumann and Sandra Wood of Rogersville, Ala.; three brothers, Sammy Settlemire, Ricky Settlemire and Dennis Settlemire all of Trumann. Funeral services will be Tuesday, March 8th at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home with Bro. Tommy Jordan officiating. Burial will follow in Holly Springs Cemetery near Harrisburg, Ark. Pallbearers will be Ricky Settlemire, Sammy Settlemire, Jr., Charley Hillis, Charley Brooks, Lucky Butler and Jamie Vest. Visitation will be Tuesday from 1:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. at Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann. An online register book can be signed at www.thompsonfuneralhome.net.

"To Dad, Im glad we got together 6 years ago,I can't be there to say goodbye but i know you went home to be with Jesus and your Dad, I met Melvin and he is cool, I love him, Grandma Helen and uncle Sammie, he"s cool too he likes sports. I don't know anyone else.They may not like me but I'm glad you and Melvin do.Sorry you didn't get to meet my son Travis,he is 2, he looks like me and you, alot of hair and dimples and blue eyes.
