Mrs. Lorene DeBoard of Trumann died Monday, April 27, 2015, at Jonesboro Health and Rehab in Jonesboro, Ark., at the age of 91 years, 4 months and 4 days. She was born Sunday, December 23, 1923 in Bay, Ark. and had lived most of her lifetime in Trumann. Mrs. DeBoard was a housewife and of the Pentecostal faith. She was a volunteer at the Trumann Senior Life Center. She enjoyed playing bingo, fishing and camping and loved her special time with family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer DeBoard, infant, four sisters, one brother and her parents, Charles Ben and Ella Mae Sloan Prichard. She is survived by one daughter, Shirley Louise Collins of Bono, Ark., two grandchildren, Beverly Longmire (Larry) Swan of Bono, Ark., and Billy Joe (Connie) Collins of Lake City, Ark., 11 great-grandchildren, 26 great-great-grandchildren and 8 great-great-great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be Thursday afternoon at 1:30 p.m. in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann with Bro. Larry Swan, Jr., and Bro. Alvin Swan officiating. Burial will follow in Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery in Jonesboro, Ark. Pallbearers will be Rickey Reeves, Delbert Reeves, Paul Cox, Terry Dean Longmire, Michael Collins, and Michael Lee.
