Mr. Jimmy Joe Brooks, 64, of Trumann died Wednesday, April 8, 2015 at the family residence in Trumann, Ark. Mr. Brooks was born in Marked Tree, Ark., and had lived most of his lifetime in the Trumann area. He was a general laborer. Mr. Brooks was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Elizabeth Brooks, one sister, Doris Paulette Brooks, two brothers, Butch and Billy Joe Brooks and his parents, James Henry and Ellie Rollins Brooks. Survivors include one son, James F. Brooks of Greenwood, Ark., two step-daughters, Shellie Faye Broadfield of Delvan, IL and Kandy Kaye McLemore of Jonesboro; 5 step-grandchildren, William Harrill, Haley Mitchell, Jessica Cook, Ryan McLemore and Travis Broadfield and 5 great-grandchildren.
