"I am so very sorry for the great loss of your husband, father, brother, grandfather, and uncle. Butch was a lifelong friend of our family and we lived as neighbors in Payneway for many years. Though i moved away in 1969, I will always remember that happy little boy who always wanted to play and his eagerness early on in life. Butch was an inspiration and our family will never forget how faithful he was to look after Mom's home when she left it two years ago to have surgery, never to return again. He was a caring man, with a big heart for kids and those he loved and all they loved. May you find comfort in knowing he is in a better place with no more pain or physical limitations and may God comfort your hearts and bring peace to your minds as you remember his laughter and loving kindness. My thoughts and prayers are with you all at this most difficult time.

Then we laughed and laughed. Before you left you called me over to the truck and you opened the door and gave me a hug and a kiss on the cheek.
