Mrs. Joyce Lee Martin Poinsett of Mustang, OK, died Saturday, January 10, 2015 at Arbor House in Mustang, OK at the age of 79 years, 5 months and 12 days. She was born Monday, July 29, 1935 in Trumann, Ark., and had lived in Oklahoma for the past 3 years and formerly of Little Rock and Memphis. She was a secretary for Methodist Hospital in Memphis and of the Christian faith. Mrs. Poinsett was preceded in death by her husband, Dalton Lynwood Poinsett; one son, Lee Poinsett; two sisters, Eileen Ragland and Mary Dell Irwin; three brothers, Doyle, Tommy and Eugene Martin; and her parents, Cleveland Claud and Della Mae Green Martin. Mrs. Poinsett is survived by one son, Lyn (Daphne) Poinsett of Piedmont, OK, three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be Saturday, January 17, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann. Burial will be private at Nettleton Cemetery in Jonesboro, Ark.
